“ Great Restaurant – The Perfect Addition to the Hotel! We stayed at the hotel and were really impressed that the restaurant is open until 2:00 AM – perfect for a late-night bite or to simply wind down the evening. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the waiters were not only attentive but also very entertaining. Our pasta was tasty, and the drinks were excellent as well. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming – we truly enjoyed our time there and would definitely come back! Warm greetings from Germany! ”
“ The real selling point is the service and atmosphere. After traveling, it was nice to find a friendly server who spoke English and welcomed me in. He was very sweet. I enjoyed the atmosphere and appreciated that the place was still lively at midnight. In terms of the food, the snails were great. I really wanted to try the duck but that server was such a great salesman - he kept telling me how soft the steak was and how it was a must try. So I got the steak and I regretted it. That had to have been some of the worst steak I’ve ever had. It was so tough. It was a poor cut. I could accept the poor quality as the steak was only €30. The steak came with a delicious sweet and tangy cream sauce. The pasta side was well cooked. ”
“ I don't know what the bad reviews are for. This restaurant is top notch. Fries were fresh. Burger was hot. The staff was hilarious and personable. They made a small air and brought us an extra glass of wine as compensation. A very memorable experience would highly recommend. ”
“ A delightful Parisian gem near Gare du Nord! We stumbled upon Au Baroudeur just outside the station and were absolutely thrilled with our meal. I ordered the frog legs, which were cooked to perfection—tender, garlicky, and loaded with fresh herbs. A true French delicacy done right. My wife had the foie gras, and it was rich, silky, and beautifully paired with toast and fig jam. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We loved the cozy outdoor seating, perfect for people-watching while enjoying our wine and warm baguette. If you're arriving at Gare du Nord and looking for an authentic French meal without the tourist traps, this place is a must. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Paris! ”
